Meet your guide in the hotel for a walking tour of the capital of Albania and its surroundings. You will start with a panoramic tour in Tirana, considered a relatively new city, although antique monuments and artifacts that have been found around, testify to earlier beginnings. You will visit the interesting places such as the Mosque of Ethem Bey (1798 – 1823) and the Clock Tower, Scanderbeg square with the monument of G.K. Scanderbeg, the national hero of Albania, National Historic Museum – the biggest Albanian museum institution; and many more.
After a short drive to the east, you will discover the Dajti Mountain National Park, rich in diversity of flora and fauna. Your guide will take you to top of Mount Dajti (1400 m) with the Dajti Express cable car gondolas. From here, the tour will take a well-trodden trail that winds through the oak forest till the Cherry Pass that stands between the two peaks of Dajti. We will continue further along the trail, which offers great views of the western lowlands of Albania and the Adriatic coast.
Afterwards, the guide will take you back to your hotel.
