The day starts by picking you at your place. We drive you first at the horse stable above “Asim Zeneli” village and introduce you to the horses, guides and riding rules.
After about one hour of riding tests and preparations you start your riding experience first by leading the horse from the stable to the valley round 15 minutes. You mount the horses there and start riding in a hilly terrain. The road passes through a rural environment; and combines hilly landscape, valleys, small water streams and some cliffs. You will meet the ruins of the castle of Santa Triada after 1 hour 30 minutes. The castle was reconstructed during 1809-1810 by Ali Pasha, as a strategic point to control all the merchants’ caravans’ itineraries. The castle ruins were used later during the time of socialism for military issues. You can bring with you some food for a short picnic close to a small church. You will take the same path back to reach the stable after another 1 hour 30 minutes. We will drive you back to town by car.
This day trip starts and ends in Saranda
