After meeting the guide at your hotel, we are going to visit one of the most enchanting hamlets of southeastern Albania is Drilon, a very small village located between Korça and Pogradec. During the Communist-era, Drilon was the favorite place of dictator Enver Hoxha, who used to come here to relax. we proceed to the village of Bubucimas at home where the film “Lady of the City” was played with the famous actress Violeta Manushi. After this visit we are going to visit Saint Naum.
Saint Naum was among the founders of the Pliska. Literary School and is venerated as a saint in the Orthodox Church. According to the hagiography of Clement of Ohrid by Thiophilic of Ohrid and some other sources, Naum took part in the historic mission to Great Moravia together with Saints Cyril and Methodius, Clement, Angelarius, Gorazd and other Slavic missionaries in 863.
After visit to monastery we are going to enjoying the nature and taking some photos and back to Pogradec.
