Korabi Mountain (2751 m) is the highest in Albania. It is located in the territory of the commune of Kala e Dodës that has been named after the shape of a natural castle created by surrounding mountains and rocks. Plain of Korabi is near Radomire village, 1900 m above the sea level, 1000 m long and 200 m wide. It is a natural monument consisting of a big and complex glacial “circus”. Higher up, there is Korabi Pasture. It is a wide field of flowers in summer and a suitable ski track in the winter. Panairi Hole is near Radomire village, 2115 m above the sea level. It also looks like a big glacial “circus”. Other attractions include the Black Lake (1460 m above the sea level, also natural monument) and King’s Watercourse-Sekarol (1200 m above the sea level). Korabi Waterfalls are beautiful and numerous, especially during rainy weather. Korabi Mountain is also known of Korabi Eagle and Korabi Tylip that can be found only in this area. In Kala e Dodes there are several guest houses designed in a traditional way. Folk costumes and songs are the best company in these guest houses. Traditional dishes are served including include pie with many layers (“fli me renda”), lamb fried in milk, sheep yogurt, and rice with milk.
